Australian King Parrot - This beautiful 43cm (17in) parrot species is widespread along Australia's east coast, from Queensland to Victoria.
Male king parrots have a distinctive bright red head, chest, and orange beak (as shown in this photo), while females have a mostly green head and chest, red belly, and a dark grey beak.
