 To celebrate Bird Week 2025 (2-8 November) I'm posting a photo of a pink galah. This Australian bird looks for food on the ground, so this was a different kind of bird shoot for me as I'm usually walking looking up at the tree canopy. This is a male galah as the female has pink, red or light brown eyes. Galahs are very fast – they can fly up to 70km per hour.
